The exhibition “Elles som tots. La historia del VCF Femení” is on display at the CEIP Antonio Ferrandis, in La Coma (Paterna), thanks to the work of the VCF Foundation's Heritage Department.
The history of VCF Feminino is being shown to the students and teachers at the centre, where the VCF Foundation has been working with the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre project since the current school year (2021/22). This comes after their work at the IES Peset Aleixandre (La Coma) centre since the beginning of the project, in October 2015.
The activities undertaken, focused on promoting equal opportunities and inclusion, have the support of the Diputació de València and Grupo Tesela, collaborating entities with the VCF Foundation.
The official inauguration was attended by: Teo Swee Wei, Director General of the VCF Foundation; Laura López, Co-Founder of Grupo Tesela; Marina Gassent, General Coordinator of VCF Femenino; Antonio Salvador, Project Coordinator of the VCF Foundation; María Pilar López, headmistress of CEIP Antonio Ferrandis; Isabel Aragón, Head of Studies; Esther Garcia, Secretary; and Paula Nieto, former VCF Femenino player and current head coach of the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre at this school, the Serra centre and the women's section of Picassent Penitentiary.
Also present were students of the Escola, who during Las Fallas made a ninot inspired by Paula.
The traveling exhibition was previously hosted at the Biblioteca de la Dona library in Valencia. In February, those participating in the Escola Cor Blanquinegre project at the school enjoyed a training session at the Ciudad Deportiva, and met players Yunus Musah and Ilaix Moriba.
